2018 TED ROGERS SCHOLARSHIP FUND APPLICATIONS OPEN FEB 1st! Application deadline: March 11, 11:59pm EST Information + application en français ici Dear partners, For the second year, we are proud to be offering the Ted Rogers Scholarship Fund for Canadian youth with any government care experience starting their first post-secondary program. We offer this scholarship in addition to our flagship Children's Aid Foundation of Canada scholarship, with which you may be familiar. The Ted Rogers Scholarship Fund (TRSF) aims to provide access to post-secondary education and reward youth who demonstrate community leadership. The TRSF applications will launch February 1st, awarding 150 young people through 14 national partner organizations, including 20 students through the Children's Aid Foundation of Canada. The Foundation's TRSF scholarships are designed to reach youth community leaders entering their first post-secondary program who have been affected by child welfare. This includes all types of care or youth custody, not just those with permanent care/Crown Ward designations. You may know students who are eligible to apply for this scholarship and use the funds in addition to any scholarship/bursary funding they are receiving from us or other sources. We would appreciate your help to circulate this opportunity with the attached posters to your networks and youth widely ASAP-- the March 11th deadline is coming up very fast!
